Bonn -Nordstadt, May 01, 2025, 01:39-During the night, a serious traffic accident occurred in the Bonn-Nord motorway junction. A driver lost control of her vehicle in the direction of Cologne on the 555 motorway and landed in the green area of ​​the motorway junction. Due to the difficult environmental conditions, she could not precisely specify the exact location compared to the control center of the fire brigade and the emergency services, which led to several emergency services to be sent to the scene of the accident.

The driver was able to free herself from her badly damaged car. Until the rescue workers arrived, it was looked after by the motorway police. Due to the severity of her injuries, she was then transported to a hospital in Bonn.

In order to carry out the recovery of the vehicle, the emergency services first had to cut the car with a chainsaw. After that, the vehicle could be recovered from the bushes with the help of a winch of the fire brigade's rescue vehicle and handed over to a towing service.

During the operation there were traffic restrictions: the exit for the Tannenbusch on the BAB 565 in the direction of Koblenz and the departure to the BAB 565 towards Beuel on the BAB 555 were blocked. A total of 26 emergency services from the fire guards 1, 2 and 4 were used for about an hour.
