Self -assertion courses for women from the beginning of May - cooperation between the police sports club Bonn and the criminal commissioner for crime prevention and victim protection - still free!
From May 7, 2025, the Bonn police sports club will offer a self -assertion course for women in cooperation with the criminal commissioner for crime prevention and victim protection. The course extends over a period of ten weeks and regularly takes place in the gymnasium of the Bonn police headquarters from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The participants have the option of registering for a course fee of 120 euros. This course is interdisciplinary, which means that different areas such as information transfer and training are linked. The coaching team is made up of experts, including a criminal officer, a psychologist or educator and two experienced sports defense trainers.
The aim of the self -assertion courses is to strengthen women in their self -confidence and to convey practical skills to them in order to react confidently in potentially dangerous situations. It is placed on comprehensive training that includes both theoretical and practical elements in order to offer the participants effective training.
