Sonar: New cluster for sustainable start-ups in Bonn-Rhein-Sieg

In a time when companies are increasingly taking on social and ecological responsibility, the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, the University of Bonn and the Alanus University of Art and Society initiate the Impact Start-Up Cluster "Sonar-socially sustainable". This project, which is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Protection with almost 1 million euros, aims to support common good -oriented start -ups. The official starting shot will be given on May 22, 2025 at the Bonn digital hub, where pick-up-off event for interested parties takes place.

Prof. Dr. Adrian Hermann emphasizes that the close partnership with the Bonn Lab for Analog Games and imaginative Play (Lagip) promotes new business ideas in game development and social aspects of company start -ups. Accessibility projects support underrepresented groups, including people with disabilities and people from noticeable classes to strengthen their social participation.
