Fatal accident at Maypole Transport: Police investigated in Bornheim

In a tragic accident during the transportation of a maypole in Bornheim, there was a fatal collision in which a 50-year-old man suffered serious injuries and died shortly afterwards in a clinic. The incident occurred in the early morning hours of May 1st on Grünewaldstrasse. A tractor team in which there were eight people was on the way to Bornheim when the 50-year-old was unchecked on the team with his vehicle.

Despite the efforts of accident witnesses that immediately provided first aid, the man's serious injuries could not be overcome. The police have started an investigation and found that the taillights of the tractor were covered by dragging trauma of the maypoles.
