TV chef Tim Mälzer in Kitchen Impossible: serious consequences according to Fauxpas
In the seventh episode of the TV cooking show "Kitchen Impossible", Tim Mälzer is experiencing a bitter moment. The well-known professional chef has to compete against two experienced star chefs in this issue and also face the critical looks of prominent test eaters. The tension and pressure increase, which means that Mälzer reaches his limits and loses the nerves.
For his challenge, Mälzer is supposed to prepare a deer leg with cauliflower and onions, a recipe for the Portuguese cook Miguel Marques. But in the middle of the hustle and bustle it happens: The 53-year-old TV chef forgets the Rehragout on the stove, which has serious consequences. Despite the loss of valuable time, the ragout braised too long and ultimately becomes dry - a fatal misfortune that Mälzer himself regrets.
The "Kitchen Impossible" jury is relentlessly in the assessment of Mälzer's performance. Criticism of the preparation of the court is clear: "The cauliflower will break the neck. Everything has become a bit dark," said the tough judgment. The sauce also harvests criticism because it is perceived as a bit bitter. In the end, Mälzer only reaches 5.2 points and is briefly subject to his opponents in this round. Nevertheless, he succeeds in claiming the top through a minimal lead overall.
This incident is not the first excitement that Mälzer causes on the show. Already in previous editions, his blunt statements and self -overestimation made headlines. Fans can look forward to the final episode of the ninth season of "Kitchen Impossible" on April 21 at 8:15 p.m. on VOX. Interested spectators also have the opportunity to follow all episodes of the season on RTL+.
