Weather in Cologne and region: mild temperatures and dense clouds

The weather forecast for Cologne and the surrounding region announces a dominant cloud cover for Tuesday. The German Weather Service (DWD) predicts that in the morning there can be isolated showers in strong clouds. In addition, short thunderstorms can occur in the second half of the day. The maximum temperatures are relatively mild at up to 18 degrees, while the temperatures in higher altitudes reach up to 15 degrees.

Rain and thunderstorm on Wednesday

In the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, the showers will initially dial away, but there is a local possibility of fog. At the end of the night, an increase in cloud conditions is expected, with rain sequences, especially west of the Rhine. The temperatures reduce values between 9 and 5 degrees at night, whereby the temperatures in the mountain regions can fall up to 3 degrees.

Wednesday itself will make itself similar to Tuesday, shaped by a thick cloud cover. During the day, shower and occasionally storms are possible, and there can be heavy rain locally. The temperature range is 14 to 18 degrees, accompanied by a weak to moderate wind from different directions.
