Niederkassel: Unknown throw warning bake on the moving car

In the night from Saturday to Sunday, April 27th, an incident occurred in Niederkassel, which attracted the attention of the police. Unknown people have thrown a warning bake from a bridge and hit a moving car.

According to reports from the police, a couple from Sankt Augustin were on the state road 269 around 3 a.m. when an object suddenly fell from the bridge on Mondorfer Straße. The driver, a 27-year-old man, described that the warning bake took place directly behind the windshield of his vehicle.

After the incident, the driver immediately stopped, but could not discover any suspects. It turned out that the thrown object was a plastic warning bake without foot. Fortunately, the couple remained unharmed, while property damage occurred on their Mazda. The police secured the warning bake as a piece of evidence because it probably came from a construction site.

The investigation into the incident has already started. The police are accepting information on suspects who may have been on Mondorfer Strasse or the bridge over the L269. Witnesses are asked to report on 02241/541-3221

Incidents of this kind throw a light on the safety risks in road traffic and the potential dangers through reckless actions of third parties. They illustrate the need to be vigilant and to report such actions immediately to the authorities in order to prevent similar situations in the future
