Cologne Lentpark: Trio wave pool with live concert in the swimming pool

On Sunday, April 27th, the indoor pool in the Lentpark in Cologne becomes a special backdrop for an innovative concert. The trio "Wellenbad N ° 4" will present an event in which electronic music, voices and noises sound that are only perceptible under water. Special speakers are used for this to offer the audience a unique listening experience that they can enjoy in the Aquatics.

The artists of the trio, based in Cologne and Düsseldorf, work on the edge of the pool with a combination of computers, analog synthesizers and voice recordings. This special performance is part of a creative project that was specifically composed for the sound under water. Such concerts have previously taken place in other German cities such as Berlin, Bonn and Düsseldorf, which underlines interest and demand for this new art form.
