While the driver of the Audi A3 was unharmed, his two 15-year-old passengers and the driver of the Audi A4 and his 21-year-old passenger were slightly injured and brought to nearby hospitals for treatment. The total damage is estimated at around 20,000 euros, both vehicles are no longer ready to drive.

Investigations to clarify the accidents

The police are suspected of an illegal motor vehicle race due to testimony and traces at the scene of the accident. The two vehicles, the drivers' leaderships and their mobile phones were secured. A special traffic accident team from the Cologne police headquarters supports the investigation, the responsible drivers are now facing legal consequences.
