Animals on the go
White deer from enclosure

In Bonn, the escape of two deer from a fallow deer enclosure causes excitement. Hikers have already had the opportunity to experience this strange sight, while others are waiting for possible encounters. The city reports that one of the runaway is characterized by its striking white fur while the other is black. This special coloring has been amazed by the forest visitors in the past few days, as the deer show a surprising impartiality towards humans.

Angelika Angelika, the city forester, explained that the animals are used to them through contact with people and therefore do not seem very shy. Nevertheless, the city asks the population not to feed the deer because they can cope well in the wild. It is believed that the animals will find their way back to their herd by themselves as soon as they have set up.

The animals could escape because a place in the fence of the enclosure was damaged. This has now been repaired to prevent further escape. Such incidents are not commonplace, especially in animals with such striking fur patterns as black or white, which are also rather rare in nature, but cannot occur completely atypical.

The situation not only offers an insight into the life of the wild animals in the region, but also raises questions about animal husbandry and security. The escape from enclosures shows how important it is to constantly monitor the infrastructure and carry out maintenance work in good time. The city appeals to all strollers to behave responsibly and leave the animals alone in order to avoid possible disorders in their behavior.
