18-year-old Melia Haase from Zschopau is one of the outstanding young mathematicians in Europe. She already had extraordinary achievements during her school days and was successful in competitions such as the Mathematics Olympics and the Mathematics competition. Her passion for numbers is not only shown in her school commitment, but also in her competitions at an international level.
at school, Melia was often busy with mathematical challenges that went beyond the level of her classmates. At the Technical University of Chemnitz, where she is on site as an early student, she has already taken demanding exams and achieved excellent results. A significant part of Melia's Werdegang are her success at the European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad (Egmo), where she was able to achieve a total of two silver medals.
