Cologne: Persection hunt-the police are looking for a fleeting Toyota driver
On Sunday afternoon, around 4:30 p.m., there was a chase between the police and a Toyota Corolla in Cologne-Dellbrück, which was occupied by three men. Civil servants wanted to check the vehicle because the driver had previously noticed several traffic violations. But the driver disregarded the stop and fled at excessive speed.
During the escape, the driver not only overtook in contrast, but also exceeded the permissible maximum speed by double. The persecution ended on Hünenstrasse, where the occupants, including the driver, jumped out of the vehicle and stepped on foot. Interestingly, one of the men had previously freed a Belgian German Shepherd from the trunk.
The police found about seven kilograms of marijuana and several thousand euros in cash during a search. Two of the men aged 23 and 26 were temporarily arrested, while the driver is still on the run.
On the same evening, a search was searched on a judicial decision that the 26-year-old had visited regularly. There the officials discovered additional cannabis and a small amount of cocaine.
The investigation by the Cologne police now focus on the suspicions of an illegal car racing, danger to road traffic and violations of the Narcotics Act. The search for the fleeting driver remains active.
