Alexandria Ocasio Cortez accused of specifying at an abortion rally, being tied up with handcuffs

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was accused of being imitated when she was arrested on Wednesday in a protest for the right to abortion.

official, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, arrested with several prominent Democrats during a demonstration against the fall of Roe V Wade in front of the Supreme Court.

Conservative commentators mocked Ms. Ocasio-Cortez after the film material showed that she was apparently reserved until she lifted her arm to wave to the observing crowd.

"AOC has only faked to be tied up with handcuffs to sell their lie," said Congressmen Marjorie Taylor Greene posted on Twitter. "The Democrats fail so much that they now fall back on lying their voters to move them to vote. It is pathetic!"

"Fish it until you make it," said Sara A. Carter, Fox News employee.

The group of Democrats, to which the prominent progressive Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush belonged, chanted "our bodies, our choice" and "We will not go back" when they marched in front of the US capitol in Washington.

According to the police, they were warned three times to block the traffic nearby while they were sitting in the middle of the street.

A total of 35 people were arrested, including 18 congressions.

The protest follows the controversial judgment of the Supreme Court of last month, which has given up the pioneering decision of 1973 by Roe V Wade, which had guaranteed the access of women for abortion.

abortion is now prohibited or threatened to be banned in 60 percent of the states.

The Supreme Court is dominated by six conservative judges, three of whom were appointed by ex-President Donald Trump.

Immediately after the verdict, Demonstrations of New York took place in the states of Missouri and Texas led by the Republicans.

Ms. Omar, a representative from Minnesota, said: "Today I was arrested when I took part in an action by the civil disobedience with my congress colleagues in front of the Supreme Court."

"I will continue to do everything in my power to raise alarm because of the attack on our reproductive rights," she added.

The MP Carolyn Maloney from New York was also arrested and gave a statement in which it was said: "There is no democracy if women have no control over their own body and decisions about their own health, including reproductive care."

"The Republican Party and the right -wing extremists behind this decision are not for life, but for the control of the bodies of women, girls and anyone who can get pregnant."
