Germany refuses to loot its own military in the interests of Ukraine.

Germany said that it did not want to "loot its own military" because it refrains from sending itself to Ukraine.

Berlin has rejected an inquiry to the delivery of around 200 Fuchs shooter tanks to Kiev on the grounds that the country's own security interests should be preserved.

"We support Ukraine with everything that is possible and responsible. But we have to ensure Germany's defense ability," said Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht on Thursday of the German Press Agency.

"It is therefore irresponsible to even spoil the Bundeswehr in these times and to ignore the military council of the general inspector."

Ms. Lambrecht said her decision was made on military advice.

General Inspector Eberhard Zorn - Germany's highest ranked soldier - previously said that the military had not enough scope to leave the vehicles to Ukraine, although it is unclear how many the German military has in stock.

Germany's oppositional Christian Democrats (CDU) wanted to support the government in order to enforce a coordination in parliament on Thursday to enable short -term delivery of the team transporters.

The CDU said that it was acting with heavy weapons with heavy weapons according to an earlier promise by the Federal Government at the end of April.

"For the Ukrainian army, it is about sending reliable material quickly, which can be used immediately at the front. Such material is in the Bundeswehr inventory and is to be withdrawn from the Bundeswehr: The transport tank fox," says the application.

Olaf Scholz, the German Chancellor, has repeatedly been criticized at home and abroad that he did not adequately arm the Ukrainian armed forces despite continued commitments.

The first delivery of heavy weapons from Ukraine to Germany hit one or four months after the start of the Russian invasion.

The delivery included seven German Haubitzen (Panzerhaubitz 2000) 14,900 tank defense mines, 500 Stinger flight defense missiles, 2,700 aircraft missiles as well as hand grenades and hand-fired army artillery.

Wolodymyr Selenskyj, the Ukrainian president, said in his nightly speech on Wednesday evening that weapons delivered by the West would "finally" have a significant influence on the war of his country against Russia.

"Finally, you have the feeling that the western artillery - the weapons we received from our partners - started working very hard," he said.
