Dramatic accident on the A96: Pensioners drives in the wrong direction and causes fatal collision

tragic accident on Autobahn 96 in Swabia: An 83-year-old man died on Wednesday when he drove in the wrong direction and came to a collision. Other people were injured according to the police.

The incident occurred in the direction of Munich between the Bad Wörishofen and Buchlee-West junction, near the Wertachtal-Süd rest area. The senior initially drove to the Fernstraße at Buchloe (Ostallgäu district) and then apparently turned his car. Then he continued against the direction of travel.

Several other drivers had to avoid the 83-year-old or brake hard to avoid a collision. Unfortunately, it finally happened: The ghost driver collided with several oncoming vehicles.

Due to the accident, the A96 towards Munich had to be completely blocked. An expert was requested to examine the exact scene of the accident. The block led to a traffic jam of six kilometers. The police have investigated the exact cause of the accident.
