The heat wave has now also reached Kassel and North Hesse, and the German Weather Service (DWD) warns of stabbing. The heat wave, the Kassel, Northern Hesse and the rest of the country meets this weekend, is caused by hot air from southwestern Europe. The subpolar sea air heats up under the influence of a high -pressure area. At the weekend, hot air from southwestern Europe is increasingly led to the region.
At the start of the week, the temperatures will only go back slightly according to the DWD. On Monday it will be cloudy, with maximum values between 27 and 32 degrees, in the higher mountain country between 24 and 27 degrees.
