An unidentified flying saucer plunges into the U.S. government's aviation logo

A UFO appeared mysteriously on the logo of a US secret service, which was later referred to by officials as a mistake.

The flying saucer was discovered on the new seal of the National Intelligence Manager-Aviation (NIM-Aviation), the main air element of the office of the director of the National Secret Service.

A spokesman said that someone "incorrectly posted an unofficial and wrong logo", which indicates that it may have been an internal prank.

nim-aviation works on the assessment of potential security threats from the air.

Last year it was involved in the creation of a report for the congress on the research of UFOs, which the Pentagon describes as an unidentified air phenomena (UAPS).

The changed logo also showed a Russian Sukhoi SU-57 fight jet and a triangular aircraft that all flew over a map of the United States.

The flying saucer was first noticed by a UFO enthusiast who reported on Twitter.

The flying saucer can be seen clearly in the lower left corner

He wrote: "Ufo in the official seal? Hahahhahaha. Radical. I still can't believe that they did it."

A spokesman later made it clear that this was not a intention.

US secret service has shifted its approach to UAPS, whereby the phenomena are taken more seriously.

The report to the Congress in 2021 concluded that the vast majority of the sightings by US military members could not be explained.

however. In many cases, the UAPs are real objects because they have been recorded by several sensors.

Highly developed aircraft

The report could not rule out that some of them could be state -of -the -art aircraft that are operated by foreign opponents.

Pentagon researchers checked 144 sightings, but said that only one of them could be explained safely.

The report was presented to the secret service shots of the House of Representatives and the Senate of Avril Haines, the director of Joe Biden's National Secret Service.

While the report was published, a classified appendix was only made accessible to US senators, which caused conspiracy theorists to speculate about what was included.
