As the police Karlsruhe currently reports, a fire broke out in a recycling facility in the Oberederdinger district of Flehingen on Monday evening. According to the current state of information

The meter -high black column of smoke is visible from afar. As always in such situations, it makes sense to keep the windows and doors closed in the catchment area, as well as to switch off all ventilation systems.

The fire brigade is in use at hour with a contingent, and there is currently no secure information about the cause of the fire. Eyewitnesses report on sporadic explosion noises, which are likely to be due to accumulators processed in the company. According to the police, the federal road 293, which run nearby, was temporarily blocked for traffic.

It is not the first fire of this kind in the Flehinger commercial area, last year alone it burned twice in this area, both in March and in October.
