The mail order center of Quelle, which anticipated the booming online trade decades ago, was an impressive complex of several buildings that employed thousands of employees at its heyday. With the progressive digitization and the decline of mail order trade, however, the site has become increasingly forgotten in recent years.

The Hamburg -based real estate company "Schultz & Partner" acquired the area two years ago and has been doing everything possible to let the historic building ensemble shine in new splendor. The topping -out ceremony, which recently took place, marks an important milestone in this process.

The striking main wing of the building complex is currently being redesigned and redesigned. There is great importance to maintain the historical substance and at the same time meet modern standards and demands. The intensive construction work that has taken place in the past two years has already changed the building and it gives an idea of ​​how impressive it will be after the renovation has been completed
