For the first time, photos were published that show how Donald Trump's Vice President was looking for refuge in a room in the US capitol, while a mob sang "Mike Pence".

The dramatic pictures of January 6, 2021 show the wife of the then Vice President, Karen Pence, who hastily closes the curtains to hide them from the rioters in front of the window while the couple's daughter was scared.

The photos were taken by Mr. Pences Official photographer of the White House shortly after the Vice President's evacuation from the Senate Etage in his ceremonial office in the captain building.

The Vice President was in the Capitol to monitor the confirmation of Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 presidential election, but the procedure was discontinued when a Pro-Trump mob stormed the seat of the American government.

Mr. Pence became the goal of the rioters after he had opposed Mr. Trump's demand to use his ceremonial role on January 6th to remove the election results and give them a second term.

The pictures of the photographer of the Vice President, Myles Cullen, were published before the next hearing on the television.

The hearing on Thursday will concentrate on Mr. Trump's pressure campaign against Mr. Pence and examine the private and public admonitions of the former president to his Vice President to prevent Mr. Bidens' certification.

The committee of January 6, which is made up of seven democratic and two Republican congress members, can explain whether Mr. Trump's actions are criminal.

In the hearings on Thursday, it is examined how Mr. Pence was physically in danger when thousands of Trump supporters-many of whom sang "Hang Mike Pence"-marched onto the Capitol. Some built a provisional gallows that they said was intended for Mr. Pence.

The accountability of Mr. Trump for the unrest of January 6th is "nidelight to his responsibility and accountability for his attempt to steal the Presidential elections 2020 to the American people," Michael Luttig, a former federal judge and informal consultant by Mr. Pence, will provide evidence of Thursday.

If Mr. Pence had complied with Mr. Trump's demand, the country would have plunged into a "revolution within a paralyzing constitutional crisis".

At the hearing on Thursday, Mr. Pence, Marc Short, will also testify.

It is expected that Mr. Short describes the movements of the Vice President in detail when the violent mob stormed the building, armed some with whistles, bats and bear spray, and the police quickly overwhelmed.

Mr. Pence was pushed out of the Senate, but was less than 100 feet from a group from demonstrators at one point.

Mr. Pence spent the next few hours in hiding with his employees and his family, first in his office in the Capitol and then in an underground loading ramp in the building complex. At least twice he rejected the request of the security personnel to leave the building and insisted that it was crucial that he would stay on the spot.

He accompanied the Second Lady MS Pence and her daughter, his brother Greg Pence, a Republican congress member for Indiana and some of the vice president.

According to a person in the room at the time, Ms. Pence hurried to close the curtains when she discovered rioters in front of the building because she feared that the attackers would see her and her family.

Liz Cheney, a member of the committee of January 6, claimed that Mr. Trump had been drawn to the chants of the mob to "hang up Mike Pence", and "answered with this feeling: 'Perhaps our supporters have the right idea.' Mike Pence" deserved ",".
