Joe Biden orders all U.

Joe Biden ordered to raise the US flags for the next 10 days until the queen of the Queen of State.

The President published a rare proclamation in which he called on to reduce the nation's flags in order to mark the death of the queen, not only in the White House, but in all government buildings, messages and military bases around the world "until the sunset on the day of the funeral".

In his edict, Mr. Biden said that it was a "sign of respect" for "a civil woman of unsurpassed dignity and durability, which deepened the fundamental alliance between the United Kingdom and the United States".

Nancy Pelosi, the spokeswoman for the House of Representatives, also ordered the flag to reduce the flags on the US capitol.

A spokesman for Ms. Pelosi said: "Spokesman Pelosi has ordered that the flags on the US capitol are being raised on half mast due to the death of her majesty."


In his proclamation, Mr. Biden said: "Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was more than one monarch. She defined an era. In a world of constant change, she was a constant presence and a source of consolation and pride for generations of British, including many who never got to know her country without her.

"Queen Elizabeth II always led to grace, an unshakable commitment to the duty and the incomparable power of her example."

Mr. Biden added: "She contributed to making our relationship with something special. Your legacy will play a major role on the sides of British history and in the history of our world."

The president was informed of the death of the queen during a meeting in the Oval Office.

His press spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre was informed by journalists when she carried out her daily briefing.

Ms. Jean-Pierre expressed condolences and then ended the briefing.



On Thursday evening, Mr. Biden and First Lady Jill Biden visited the British embassy in Washington, where they signed a condolence book.

They were greeted by the British ambassador Dame Karen Pierce.

Mr. Biden went to the condolence book and asked if he could write a message, taking a card with notes out of his jacket pocket.

lady Karen then said: "If you want, sir."



Mr. Biden wrote a message while the First Lady woke up over him and the ambassador was on his side.

In his message of around 50 words, Mr. Biden partially wrote: “The American people today mourn with the people throughout the United Kingdom and in the Commonwealth

"She led with persistent strength and dignity and devoted her whole life to the service to her people. Jill and I will never forget to have hit her."

Mr. Biden told Mitaraschilien: “We mourn all of her. She was a great woman, I am so pleased that I was able to get to know her.

"As my mother would say: 'God loves you'."

Mrs. Biden added: "Our hearts are with you."

On the table with the condolence book was a photo of the queen, together with a bouquet of flowers

The White House announced that the Queen met with 14 US presidents.
In a long honor, former President Donald Trump said: "Melania and I are deeply sad about the loss of her majesty Queen Elizabeth II Great Britain during this time."

Mr. Trump added: “Melania and I will always appreciate our time together with the queen and never forget the generous friendship, great wisdom and the wonderful sense of humor of her majesty.

"What a great and beautiful woman she was. There was no one like her!"
