Joe Biden supports son Hunter Biden for possible criminal charges

Joe Biden insisted that he was proud of his son because he had tackled his problems with drug addiction when he made his first comments on a controversial weapon procedure against him.

hunter biden was suspended because he allegedly lied to a weapon purchase application in 2018, in which he had to testify that he did not consume any drugs or was dependent on them.

Up until now, the White House has neutral in an ongoing examination against Hunter, which seems to be tipping.

Mr. Biden said he was "proud" of his son because he spoke openly about his addiction and wrote a book in which he describes his fights.

"Well, first of all I am proud of my son. This is a child who got a child - he is a grown man. He was addicted - as many families happened, he has overcome that. He has built up a new life," Mr. Biden told Cnn.

"I am confident that he is - what he says and does, match what happens. And for example, he wrote a book about his problems and was open to it. I am proud of him."

But Mr. Biden seemed to stumble over his policy of neutrality when he defended his son in the event of a gun.

"This thing with a weapon - I didn't know anything about it. But it turns out that when he made an application to buy a weapon, he happened that I - I guess you are asked - I do not appreciate - you will be asked a question, take drugs or take drugs?

"That's why I have great confidence in my son," he added. "I love him and he's on the right track, and for a few years. And I'm just so proud of him."

According to the Washington Post, federal officials believe that there is enough evidence to raise charges against him in the event of a gun and tax burdens.

The case of agents reported that lawyers David Weiss, a representative appointed by Donald Trump, decides which charges should be raised.

Merrick Garland, the Attorney General, has remained neutral in this case.

The White House has repeatedly refused to comment on Hunter's case, since it was a matter of the Ministry of Justice.

Republican legislators say that they will initiate formal studies in this matter if they gain the majority in the congress in this year's midterm elections.

In his interview with CNN, Mr. Biden said that his focus is now on the elections in November - but added that it was time for him to make decisions about his own political future as soon as they were completed.

"I will not make it my decision. I will do this about these elections outside of the year. After this is done in November, I will be there to decide," said Mr. Biden.

Mr. Biden, who turns 80 on November 20, has repeatedly resisted questions about his age and leadership.

he argued that his track record as president was proof of him and that he intends to stand for re -election.

"You are concerned about whether I can or not do it. Look at what I did. Name me of a president of the recent story that has achieved as much as I do in the first two years. No joke. You may not like what I did, but the vast majority of Americans I like," he said.

"It's about doing the job? And I think I can do the job. I was able to do the work," he added.

When asked whether one of his considerations in the candidacy was to re -election, whether "they think they are the only one who can beat Donald Trump," Biden replied: "I think I can beat Donald Trump again."
