he returned from his British homeland to Ukraine as soon as the news of the successful offensive of the Ukrainian army in Charkiw became known.

he added: "We saw that after they have stopped filling places like Bucha, Irpin and Tschernihiw, they literally killed every living being in sight ... only to withdraw any sources of food to the local population."

his return took place at the last minute that he had to do without his usual group of Vans Withhout Borders' volunteers under British leadership and instead used the help of Eduard and Justin, which provided the necessary support when they traveled through dangerous bombed streets.

on the way they met Commandant Oleg Shiryaev, who was decisively involved in the fact that they granted outsiders access to the strictly blocked areas of Charkiw.

After they had helped people in Izyum, Jack and his team made their way to Donetsk to give food to the rural villagers who live near the front. Their time there was shortened when security advisor who was not a military staff due to a "Russian rocket attack in Kramatorsk" for evacuation.

"It is worrying that our friendly security advisors say that they have already left and we urgently need to get out," said Jack when he and his team packed up and raced out of Donetsk.
