On July 26, 2023, Mick Jagger, the charismatic and energetic front man of the Rolling Stones, celebrates his 80th birthday. With his unique stage presence and his rebellious lifestyle, Jagger has not only shaped rock music, but also Great Britain.

Jagger was born on July 26, 1943 in Dartford, near London. He discovered his passion for music early on and, together with his childhood friend Keith Richards, began writing and performing his own songs. The two finally founded the legendary band Rolling Stones, to which Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts also came across. Guitarist Brian Jones completed the formation in 1964. Just a year later, the Rolling Stones landed their first global success with their hit "(i can’t get no).

Jagger was not only the charismatic front man of the Rolling Stones, but also significantly involved in the organization and leadership of the band. He wrote countless hits as the main text, including timeless classics such as "Paint It, Black", "Angie" and "Sympathy for the Devil". In addition, Jagger was instrumental in making the Rolling Stones a globally known brand. He took care of the contracts with Atlantic Records and had the famous band logo designed with the red lips and tongue out.

In addition to his work with the Rolling Stones, Jagger also pursued a successful solo career. He published several albums and worked with numerous music greats, such as Peter Tosh and the Jacksons. His duet "Dancing in the Streets" with David Bowie also became a hit.

The wild private life of Mick Jagger is also legendary. He was known for his numerous affairs and marriages, including Marianne Faithful, Marsha Hunt, Bianca Jagger and Jerry Hall. He has a total of eight children from these relationships. He is currently lined with the choreographer Melanie Hamrick and has a six -year -old son named Deveraux with her.

Despite his old age, Mick Jagger is far from thinking about quitting. In an interview with the BBC, he said: "I am lucky that I can still sing more or less the same tones as I was 19." It is therefore quite likely that the Rolling Stones will publish more albums in the future and go on tour. The tour of the 60th band anniversary in 2022 was by no means declared a farewell tour.
