Sergei Lawrov evades the claim that he was hospitalized in Indonesia

Sergei Lawrow, Russia's long -term foreign minister, said on Monday that he had been hospitalized in Indonesia and instead hit western journalists.

Associated Press cited Indonesian officials that the 72-year-old Russian minister had been hospitalized when he arrived on the island of Bali for the G20 summit.

The minister's press office quickly laughed at the reports and promptly published a video in which the minister sits on a terrace and reads documents.

Wayan Koster, Governor of Bali, told Reuters that Mr. Lawrow came to the hospital for an examination, and the minister was in good health.

The two civil servants cited by AP called the hospital in which Lawrow was brought, and said he was treated for heart disease.

The Russian diplomat, who has been funding since 2004, traveled to Bali as head of the Russian delegation after President Vladimir Putin had decided to travel there himself.
