Ticket control ends in violence: 22-year-old beats DB employee!

A Deutsche Bahn employee was attacked by a 22-year-old Gambian traveler on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, during his work as a ticket controller. The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on the route from Ulm to Aalen when the 64-year-old inspector asked the suspect to show his ticket. This, obviously without a ticket, reacted aggressively and beat the controller with his fist against the upper arm.

The federal police immediately started the investigation into assault. The incident raises questions about the security of employees in public transport and increasing violence against train staff.
