Knife attack in Heilsbronn: Police search for fleeting perpetrators!

In a shocking incident in Heilsbronn, Ansbach district, a 40-year-old was brutally attacked on Thursday morning (06.02.2025). The unknown perpetrator fled towards unknown after the crime. Despite intensive search measures that included police officers, persons and a helicopter, the attacker initially disappeared.

The special unit SOKO "Gundekar" was immediately set up to clarify the case. After the evaluation of numerous testimonies and road users surveys, SOKO managed to identify the suspect: it is 25-year-old Davut Elitas. At the request of the Ansbach public prosecutor's office, arrest warrant was issued for suspected attempted murder.
