Shock in Solnhofen: Man with serious injuries to the refugee home!

A seriously injured man caused excitement in front of a refugee accommodation in Solnhofen, Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen district on Monday afternoon. The unknown knocked desperately on a window of the accommodation "Am Birkenhain" and asked for help. When the residents initiated him, they found in horror that he had serious fire injuries. Shortly afterwards the man collapsed on the premises and had to be taken to the hospital.

The Ansbach criminal police have now determined the identity of the man and assumes that he has inflicted the injuries himself. The incident raises questions and leaves a queasy feeling in the community. The investigation continues to clarify the exact circumstances.
