Trickdieb in Ansbach: pensioner brought for gold jewelry!

On Friday afternoon, January 31, 2025, a suspected trick thief crept into an apartment of a 95-year-old woman in Ansbach. The stranger pretended to be an employee of the city and claimed to have to read the meter state. During his first visit, he stayed in the apartment for a few minutes before leaving her. Shortly afterwards, however, he returned, pretended to have forgotten, and snatched the elderly with several pieces of jewelry before he went to escape.

The perpetrator is described as male, in mid -20, about 1.55 to 1.60 meters tall and stocky. He had an oval or round face and wore white sneakers as well as a white pants and jacket. The Ansbach criminal police have taken up the investigation and asks possible witnesses to report on 0911 2112 - 3333 if they have made suspicious observations or have seen the person described.
