Lightning controls in Augsburg: Over 600 speeders have to expect driving ban!

In a large-scale campaign, the Augsburg traffic police carried out intensive speed and distance measurements last week on the federal highways and the A8. A total of around 60,000 vehicles were checked at almost 20 locations, and the result is alarming: more than 600 drivers significantly exceeded the permissible top speed!

Particularly serious: Almost 30 road users have to expect a driving ban of at least one month. The police use these measures to point out the dangers of excessive speed, which have been among the main causes of severe and fatal traffic accidents for years. An urgent appeal to all road users: Safety is going on - stick to the speed borders!
