Burglars in the butcher shop: the police stops fleeting bicycle thief!

In the night of Sunday, February 9, 2025, a 39-year-old shocked the Stadtbergen when he tried to break into a butcher in Benzstrasse. At around 00:15 a.m. he started violence to go into business. However, the owner was alerted by a motion detector and immediately informed the police.

When the officials arrived, the man tried to flee with a bike, but was quickly caught. After his preliminary arrest and carrying out police measures, he was released. The property damage is estimated at around 1,000 euros. Now the Augsburg criminal police are investigating because of the attempted particularly severe theft.
