Motorcycle manipulation in Hammerschmiede: Police grabs 45-year-olds!

On Monday, April 14, 2025, a 45-year-old man caused a sensation in Mühlhauser Straße when he was traveling with a manipulated motorcycle. At 3:15 p.m., the driver was stopped by the Augsburg traffic police because his motorcycle was exceptionally loud. During the check, the officers discovered an illegal modification: the driver had installed a lever with which he could manually control a flap in the exhaust system.

The exhaust system is only permitted when closed, and opening the flap leads to the extent of the operating license of the motorcycle. Now the 45-year legal consequences are in the house because the police are investigating a violation of the road traffic approval regulations.
