Police warn: How to celebrate on your freightache!
In the night of April 30th to May 1st, the traditional “free night” is celebrated in many cities, a custom that is often accompanied by carefree celebrations, but also with unpleasant incidents. The Swabian North police warns of dangerous actions and criminal acts that night. In recent years there have often been vandalism such as damaged garbage cans, smeared walls and even the blasting of mailboxes. Actions that are both punishable and dangerous are particularly worrying, such as removing gulli lids and placing obstacles on the street.
The police will be more present to ensure security and calls on parents to clarify their children in advance about adequate behavior. In addition, the police recommend keeping garbage cans and other portable objects safely to prevent possible damage. In an emergency, citizens can reach the police under 110.
