A special classification for students and employees of Bavarian universities is offered as part of the “Bavarian University Championships 10 km of road run 2025”. The start fees are staggered: adults pay 15 euros, students 12 euros and young people 9 euros. The fee for seasons is 18 euros. For the little ones there is also a Bambini run of around 500 meters, which is intended for children up to 7 years and starts at 9:15 a.m. The child and youth run, which comprises a distance of approx. 2,000 meters and is open to participants between the ages of 8 and 13, begins at 9:30 a.m. The fees for the children's runs are 5 euros for the years 2012 to 2017 and 3 euros for the Bambini run (born 2018 and younger).

The event is organized by the University Sports Center Bamberg under the direction of Prof. Dr. Stefan Voll. Registration takes place exclusively online by June 26, 2025, but late registrations are possible up to half an hour before the respective start on site.
