Important dates 2025 for reservists in Upper Franconia: This is how you stick to it!
The reservists of the Oberfranken-West district group can look forward to an exciting year 2025. There are a number of attractive events that serve both training and further training. On October 4, on the Reservistenverband page, it was announced that the organization under the direction of Oberstabfeldwebel d.R. Christian Napp will maintain the site with current information on official and voluntary events.
An important detail concerns the registration for the official events (DVAG). A new handwritten registration form is necessary for this. In order to be able to participate in the shooting events, the participants have to prove that they have visited a DVAG for basic military technology (WUG) or a training series for general shooting training on the pitch (AGHP) in the past two years. It is also important to know that participation in official events outside of your own district group is possible. Registrations for this are to be addressed to the FWRES Bamberg, whereby there are no legal claims to a DVAG, such as [Wikipedia] (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dienstliche_Verstaltung_ (Soldier Act)).
Various events at an overview
The list of planned events in 2025 is long and diverse. Here are some of the most important appointments that reservists and interested parties should remember:
- 15.02.2025: WUG – Ausbildung in Bamberg
- 08.03.2025: Ausbildung Leitungs-/Funktionspersonal – Schießen in Kulmbach
- 15.03.2025: Schießen mit BwHaWa in Hammelburg
- 24.05.2025: Gebirgsvorausbildung in Sparneck
- 27.09.2025: Ü-65 Gästeschießen in Roth
- 30.12.2025: Jahresabschlussmarsch „Pressackmarsch“ in Neudorf
These events offer an ideal opportunity to refresh and expand the military skills of the reservists, as defined in the Soldier Act. There it is said that the responsibility of such events is carried out by the responsible Federal Ministry and that participation is independent of belonging to a certain part of the group.
