Important dates in 2025 for reservists in Upper Franconia: Here's how to stay tuned!
The reservists of the Upper Franconia-West district group can look forward to an exciting year in 2025. There are a number of attractive events that serve both training and further education. On October 4th it was announced on the Reservistenverband page that the organization under the leadership of Oberstabsfeldwebel d.R. Christian Napp will maintain the site with current information on official and voluntary events.
An important detail concerns registration for business events (DVag). A new handwritten signed registration form is required. In order to be able to take part in the shooting events, participants must prove that they have attended a DVag for basic military training (WuG) or a training series for general shooting training on the field (AGSHP) in the last two years. It is also important to know that it is possible to take part in business events outside of your own district group. The list of planned events in 2025 is long and varied. Here are some of the most important dates that reservists and those interested should remember:
- 15.02.2025: WUG – Ausbildung in Bamberg
- 08.03.2025: Ausbildung Leitungs-/Funktionspersonal – Schießen in Kulmbach
- 15.03.2025: Schießen mit BwHaWa in Hammelburg
- 24.05.2025: Gebirgsvorausbildung in Sparneck
- 27.09.2025: Ü-65 Gästeschießen in Roth
- 30.12.2025: Jahresabschlussmarsch „Pressackmarsch“ in Neudorf
These events provide an ideal opportunity to refresh and expand the military skills of the reservists, as set out in the Soldiers Act. It states that participation in such events is carried out by the responsible federal ministry and that participation is independent of affiliation with a specific military unit.
