On September 14, 2025, FC Bayern Munich remains the undisputed leader of the Bundesliga. With an impressive 5-0 win over Hamburger SV, Bayern celebrated their third win in their third game of the season. From the start, the Munich team showed that they were in top form. Serge Gnabry scored in the third minute, followed by Aleksandar Pavlovic in the ninth minute.

It didn't take long until Harry Kane increased the score to 3-0 with a hand penalty in the 26th minute and Luis Diaz made it a convincing 4-0 shortly afterwards in the 29th minute. Kane put the finishing touches with his second goal in the 62nd minute, which made Bayern celebrate. Sports News reports that Bayern are laying the foundation for a promising season.

Dortmund and Cologne in the chasing role

Borussia Dortmund followed up Munich's success by turning heads with a solid 2-0 win against 1. FC Heidenheim. Especially in the second half, after Heidenheim's Budu Zivzivadze was sent off with a red card in the 22nd minute, Dortmund left no doubt about their will to win. Serhou Guirassy opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, while Maximilian Beier made it 2-0 shortly before half-time. Ermedin Demirovic scored the first goal for Stuttgart, but Igor Matanovic (81st, 90th + 2, penalty kick) and Derry Scherhant (86th) turned the game in Freiburg's favor.

TSG Hoffenheim didn't let up and won 4-2 at Union Berlin. Andrej Kramaric scored a penalty in the first minute of first-half stoppage time, followed by two more goals from Fisnik Asllani. Union Berlin was able to shorten the gap, but Hoffenheim couldn't let the victory be taken away from them. In another match, FSV Mainz 05 unfortunately lost 0-1 against RB Leipzig, with Johan Bakayoko scoring the decisive goal in the 40th minute.

The Bundesliga remains exciting and the top three places are hotly contested. While Bayern seem unstoppable, it will be interesting to see if Dortmund and Cologne can stay on their heels. One thing is for sure: there is still a lot of drama and tension in the air!
