In the night from February 26, 2025, a 40-year-old man was caught in Bad Rappenau-Bonfeld after stealing an Audi Q5. The perpetrator is said to have intercepted the vehicle's keyless signal to flee the luxury car. But luck did not last long: In the early Thursday morning, the stolen Audi was discovered on the A72 to the east. He raced at an excessive speed and immediately aroused the distrust of a civil patrol of the Bayreuth.

The quick intervention by the police led to the arrest of the search for the search at the Hof/Töpen junction in Bavaria. When checking the vehicle, inconsistencies came to light that led to the preliminary arrest of the man. On Friday, the Polish citizen was brought before a judge who issued an arrest warrant for serious band theft at the request of the Heilbronn public prosecutor.
