Fraud gang in Bayreuth: Six Romanians convicted of burglaries!

After intensive investigations by the Bayreuth criminal police, six Romanian citizens are now on trial for serious band theft. Originally, five suspects had already been arrested in May 2023. Thanks to careful evidence of evidence and video recordings, the investigators were able to demonstrate a total of 51 burglaries that the perpetrator collective in Upper Franconia, Middle Franconia, the Upper Palatinate and Thuringia.

The burglars, which mainly stole cash and high -quality electronics, ensured a total damage of almost 300,000 euros and captured goods worth almost 200,000 euros. In August and November 2024, the courts in Bayreuth and Hof fell legal judgments: four main perpetrators received prison sentences between four years and six months to four years and ten months, while another was released on probation. The youngest defendant, a 20-year-old, has to be satisfied with a youth penalty of one year and six months.
