ASV Dachau demands revenge from Altenerding – the duel between rivals!

Next Sunday, November 5th, things will get serious for the ASV Dachau football team. The second leg against SpVgg Altenerding is at 12:30 p.m. and coach Matthias Koston's men are determined to take revenge for the bitter 4-1 defeat at the start of the season. “The first game was suboptimal and the team seemed very green,” says Koston. Since then, however, the tide has turned: In the last 14 games, the Dachau team has significantly increased their performance level and is now confident on the pitch.

SpVgg Altenerding, on the other hand, could not consistently maintain the form shown in the first duel. The team is currently in sixth place with 25 points and recently had to be content with a 1-1 draw against third-placed SVN Munich. Coach Jens Urbanczyk emphasizes that the team spirit and discipline are still there to survive against the strong team from Dachau.

Fight for second place

With the encounter on Sunday it will be exciting in the race for places in the table. ASV Dachau is currently in second place with a respectable gap of six points to SpVgg Altenerding. The long-distance duel with the leaders Walpertskirchen, who play against VfR Garching, brings additional tension to the situation. “We have to concentrate on our strengths and use the individual abilities of our players,” continued Koston.

Particular attention will be paid to the right side of Altenerding, where players like Samuel Kronthaler and Leart Bilalli can cause a lot of excitement. “These two players can decide the game at any time,” warns Koston. The Dachau team, on the other hand, can rely on their desired eleven in this game as there are no absences.

The first leg in review

The first meeting between the two teams this season already caused a lot of conversation and showed the strengths and weaknesses of both teams. An interesting run of play brought SpVgg Altenerding a 4-1 win, with Alexander Weiher, Leonardo Tunjic and Pedro Flores getting on the scoresheet. Tunjic was particularly noticeable and scored two goals. At home, fans will certainly be mobilized to flock to the time-honored stands.

The spectators at this second leg can expect an exciting duel and a passionate fight for every ball. The signs are clear: ASV Dachau wants revenge, while Altenerding will do everything it can to prove itself and consolidate its place in the top half of the table.

The game promises pure excitement and could potentially set the course for the rest of the season. Fans can look forward to a football festival on Sunday!
