On Friday afternoon, March 7, 2025, a dramatic incident occurred in Monheim am Rhein: An 89-year-old driver suddenly suffered from an internal emergency and lost control of his vehicle. As a result, he crashed against a fence, which woke up the concern of the bystanders.

Thanks to the quick action of committed witnesses, who immediately provided first aid and successfully reanimated the senior, could be prevented. After the emergency services arrived, the man was immediately transported to the hospital for inpatient treatment. Fortunately, his 87-year-old passenger was not injured.
