A dramatic incident occurred on Thursday morning in Unterschneidheim when a 64-year-old VW driver came off Schloßbergstrasse and crashed against a parked VW with full force. The force of the impact hurled the parked vehicle against an adjacent house wall. The driver and his 60-year-old passenger were taken to a hospital as a precaution.

Already at noon there was another accident in Ledergasse, in which an 81-year-old Mercedes driver grazed a BMW while turning. Through an unfortunate reflex, he slipped from the brake and accelerated, which led to his vehicle got on the sidewalk. There he slightly injured a 75-year-old pedestrian who was hit by flying debris. The total damage is estimated at around 8,000 euros.
