Successful search: missing 81-year-old after hours!

Egestorf, Deutschland - In the late evening of February 17, 2025, an 81-year-old demented woman was reported missing from her residential facility. After she had disappeared into the cool evening hours, the police immediately mobilized an extensive search team, supported by fire brigade from several surrounding communities and rescue dog handlers of the DRK.

around 1:20 a.m. the mission was successful: a police helicopter discovered the missing woman in a ditch near the railway tracks. Soil forces were quickly sent to recover the helpless senior citizen. She was very cool and was immediately taken to the hospital with an ambulance. Around 80 emergency services were involved in the search to save the life of women.
