Large control in Wertheim: Police reveals numerous traffic sins!

In a large -scale traffic control in Wertheim, the police and traffic experts found alarming violations on Tuesday afternoon. A total of 97 vehicles and 125 people were checked between 2 and 7 p.m. At eleven of the controlled cars, serious inadmissible conversions were discovered, which led to an immediate expiry of the operating license. Other serious violations, such as telephoning at the wheel and not specifying seat belts, have also come to light. The case of an e-scooter driver who tried to flee was particularly dramatic, but was quickly obtained by the police. His scooter was not insured and he was under the influence of drugs.

Also on Tuesday morning there was a spectacular traffic accident in Niederstetten, in which two vehicles suffered total damage. A 68-year-old woman hit her Chevrolet against a 78-year-old Alfa-Romeo driver who had disregarded the right of way. While the woman had to be taken to the hospital with minor injuries, the older gentleman remained intact. The total damage scratches the shocking sum of 65,000 euros!
