Tire stitch and accidents: Police informed about current incidents in Leer

In a worrying incident in Leer, several tires were deliberately stabbed on a car. The police ask witnesses for clues. This is not the only incident: a traffic accident occurred in Moormerland, in which two people were slightly injured, while a cyclist was also slightly injured in Uplengen.

The accident in Moormerland happened on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. on Augustfehner Straße. A 64-year-old driver wanted to turn right onto a petrol station area and collided with a 48-year-old cyclist who drives the bike path in the opposite direction. The cyclist was taken to the hospital. The police appeal to the population to report any information on the incidents to the departments.
