Serious truck accident on B 243: driver injured, roadway closed!

Schlackenmühle, Deutschland - on February 20, 2025, around 3:40 p.m., there was a dramatic truck accident on the B 243/B 248 between the junction to the A 7 and Schlagmmühle. A 28-year-old Romanian truck driver had to stop with her empty container truck due to traffic. Suddenly a subsequent 54-year-old truck driver from Ukraine crashed into an unknown cause. The impact was so violent that the cab was heavily pressed in.

The Ukrainian driver was seriously, but luckily not injured life -threatening and taken to the hospital in Northeim. The police have initiated the investigation into the cause of the accident and the property damage is estimated at at least 50,000 euros. The road was closed on each other, which caused traffic disruptions.
