Serious accident in Neckarstadt: roller driver (66) injured!

Industriestraße, 68163 Mannheim, Deutschland - On Thursday afternoon, a serious traffic accident occurred in the Neckarstadt. A 66-year-old scooter driver was seriously injured in a collision with a BMW. The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. when a 19-year-old driver disregarded the ride-on driver's right of way when entering the industrial road.

The collision was violent: the scooter driver was thrown onto the opposite side of the street by the impact and crashed into an entrance gate of a company area. He suffered serious injuries and was hospitalized at the scene of the accident after first aid care, where he was treated in hospital. The Mannheim traffic police started the investigation into the course of the accident.
