Accident on Schützenhausstraße: Motorists injured, perpetrator escapes!

A 38-year-old driver was slightly injured on Monday in an accident on Schützenhausstraße in Stolpen. The man was traveling with his Ford Kuga and wanted to turn into a market entrance when an unknown driver ran a Mazda on the street, which led to a collision. While the driver and two seven-year-old children who were in the vehicle with him were examined, the 38-year-old came to the hospital with minor injuries. Fortunately, the children were unharmed.

The Mazda driver continued his journey after the accident, but witnesses helped the investigators to find a 73-year-old German. The police have secured his driver's license and is now investigating due to negligent bodily harm and escape.
