On Wednesday morning around 8:30 a.m., a 40-year-old pedestrian was hit by an unknown driver of a dark car on Heinrich-Heine-Straße in Zella-Mehli. The driver, who drove in the same direction, came off the street and collided with the man, who then fell and urgently had to be taken to the hospital.

The person causing the accident then fled from the scene without taking care of the injured. The police are now urgently looking for witnesses to the incident that can provide information about the fleeting car or the driver. The Suhl Inspection Service accepts information on 03681 369-0, stating the file number 0097668/2025.
