Annafest 2025: Beer highlights and big festival program in Forchheim!

The anticipation for the Forchheim Annafest 2025 is increasing, because the city is preparing for one of the greatest celebrations of the year. From July 25th to August 4th, the festival is celebrated in the picturesque basement forest and not only promises traditional cuisine, but also a broad spectrum of craftsmanship beers from the region. ft reports that the festival is not an easy event, but a real highlight of the region.

Already on July 24th, Forchheim invites you to start the festival from 10.30 a.m. Visitors can look forward to a hearty battleship meal in various basements before the official beer tapping on the Schindler cellar takes place on July 25th at 5 p.m. The festival area opens daily from 11 a.m., with the first visits in the beer cellars possible from lunchtime. The festival starts at 1 p.m., the last drinks are served at 11:30 p.m. and the area closes at midnight.

The variety of events is supplemented by numerous rides, snack bars and a total of around 23 beer cellars that offer regional beers from the area. A very special event will take place on Sunday, July 27th: the Annafeste, which meanders through the streets with around 4,000 contributors - a spectacle that can finally be celebrated again after a corona -related break.

Another highlight is the FT beer test, which takes place on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 4 p.m. in the Schindlerkeller. Supported by Ulrich Raab, also known as "King Alladooch". Here, visitors can look forward to tasting selected Annafestbeten. The beer test is moderated by the FT editor-in-chief Franziska Rieger, and guests of honor such as the reigning beer queen Karolin Kübel and the second mayor Udo Schönfelder are also expected.
