Theater magic in Heroldsbach: Three Angels for Ferdi” inspires!

The Heroldsbach-Thurn theater group is causing a sensation in the region because on Saturday, December 2nd, 2025, the comedy “Three Angels for Ferdi” will be performed in the Hirtenbachhalle. The comedy promises an entertaining evening and is part of the extensive program offered by this group. Karl Heinz Wirth from NN reports on the upcoming performance and the anticipation of the actors and audience.

But that's not all. The theater group has already planned the Theater Days in the Hirtenbachhalle for 2025, which should be a real highlight. In addition to the comedy in question, an adult play entitled “Vacation from the Marriage Bed” by Werner Ohnemus will be performed. The friends Anton and Quirin want to take a “vacation” from their wives and have a fake doctor write them up for a treatment. Instead of going to the sanatorium, however, they end up in the “Wilder Ochse” guesthouse - a mix-up that is sure to get a lot of laughs. The women don't put up with this and go looking for their husbands, which brings with it additional complications.

Cast and performances

The cast for the adult play is prominent and promising. Gerhard “Josi” Lengenfelder takes on the role of Anton Schlickmoser, while Susanne Melcarne-Weber shines as his wife Rosa. Manuel Mehl and Theresia von Bentzel will also be part of the ensemble. But that's not all, the theater scene is also properly set up for the youth play “Sometimes it can be Shakespeare” by Uschi Schilling. Here Dr. rehearses Knittel and his students are working on “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, which will certainly not be without challenges.

The young talents, including Nikola von Bentzel and Ronja Mehl, show their skills on stage and provide a breath of fresh air. Performance dates for this are January 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th and 19th, 2025, followed by further performances on January 24th and 25th, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. Admission tickets are available in advance at the Volksbank in Heroldsbach and cost only 10 euros. One euro per ticket goes directly to a charitable cause, which makes the whole thing even more likeable.

Theater life in Heroldsbach

The clearly flourishing theater culture in Heroldsbach is also reflected in the attractive theater bar, which invites you to linger during breaks and review what you have heard over a delicious snack. The popularity of the performances shows how important art and culture are in the region and how these events strengthen the citizens' sense of community.

Overall, the activities of the Heroldsbach-Thurn theater group show that the region not only has a strong local identity, but also continues to maintain a lively and diverse cultural scene. The Theater Days 2025 are a wonderful example of how commitment and creativity can go hand in hand to entertain and inspire people. A visit to the Hirtenbachhalle is definitely worth it!
